10,000 for gas

This is a 20,000 Forint bill. It's worth $100.00. How? 200 Forint is $1.00 U.S. so divide it by 2 and move the decimal place over two digits. 10,000 is worth 50 U.S.

the Chain Bridge

these are shots of the famous lion bridge in Budapest. i was very excited when we drove in, because before communism had taken over in Hungary (good thing that's over now), my great-great-grandmother had been very rich. im kind of glad that communism took over though, because if it hadn't then my dad would be rich, so I would have never been born. If I hadn't been born, then you wouldn't be reading this blog.
