On the 6th of December, Saint Nicholas comes and puts candy and toys in your shoes, but only if you cleaned them on the night before.
Parents threaten to beat their kids with these sticks, but it's illegal to spank your kids in Croatia.
I notice you only have one shoe from each pair set out to be filled by St. Nick. Is this the rule, to only put out one shoe?
